Traction/Sport

Launch Control

Designed for the fastest possible start from a standstill.

If a speed sensor is installed, it is activated automatically when you press the gas into the floor at zero speed. If there is no speed sensor - it is activated by a button and works while the button is pressed.

The function holds desired RPM and retards ignition to spool the turbo (if the target boost is not zero). When car started to move, or the button is released, the RPM cut-off is disabled. The settings for torque limiting comes into effect.

Warning

Launch control leads to intense wear of the engine, turbo, transmission!

Cut-off RPM

Set RPM limit when launch is engaged.

Target boost

When target pressure is not reached - target RPM is maintained by ignition retard (30-40 deg after TDC). Due to this, the turbocharger builds high pressure. The temperature of the exhaust gases also rises critically. Prolonged use of this function leads to overheating and damage to the engine and turbocharger.

When target pressure is reached - target RPM is maintained by fuel cut-off.

If set to 0 - target RPM is maintained by fuel cut-off.

Spark cut

Sets spark cut pattern. Modifying pattern, you can achieve different sound.

First number - count of spark events to skip. Second number - count of spark events to keep.

For example, value of 4 / 10 gives 4 cut, 10 sparks, 4 cut, 10 sparks, and so on.

Speed on exit

Launch is active if vehicle speed is below the value.

Advance on exit

Ignition advance after exiting Launch mode.

Designed to reduce the transmission impact. It works by retarding the ignition angle, and a gradual increase to the norm.

Advance rise speed

The rate at which ignition advance is increased after exiting Launch mode.

Antilag

Designed to maintain the speed of the turbocharger when the pedal is released.

Use ignition retard and spark cut to build desired boost. Start with retard -20, and experiment with Spark Cut patterns.

Use with the min throttle position setting or the open ICV in motion settings. The greater the throttle or ICV opening, the better the turbocharger speed is maintained, but the less engine braking.

Activation RPM

RPM above which the antilag is triggered.

Duration

Antilag operation time limit for engine safety.

ICV / Throttle open

Additional engine air supply during anti-lag operation. Use it to build more boost.

Advance

Ignition advance during anti-lag operation. Retard ignition to build boost.

Lambda

Target lambda during anti-lag operation. Use it to supply additional fuel.

Spark cut

Sets spark cut pattern. Modifying pattern, you can achieve different sound.

First number - count of spark events to skip. Second number - count of spark events to keep.

For example, value of 4 / 10 gives 4 cut, 10 sparks, 4 cut, 10 sparks, and so on.

Roll launch

Designed to build boost while maintaining constant speed. Engages with button click, and throttle pedal in the middle. Disengages when pedal is either fully depressed or released.

Use ignition retard and spark cut to build desired boost. Start with retard -20, and experiment with Spark Cut patterns.

Advance

Ignition advance during operation.

For example, value of 4 / 10 gives 4 cut, 10 sparks, 4 cut, 10 sparks, and so on.

Flat-shift

Designed to change gears without releasing the throttle pedal.

Requires connection of the clutch pedal sensor.

If the pedal is fully pressed, and the clutch pedal is pressed - the engine revs are limited. After releasing the clutch pedal, the ignition advance is restored at a predetermined speed to reduce transmission impact and traction loss.

Set RPM limit

Advance rise speed

The rate at which ignition advance is increased after exiting mode.

Traction control

Works by controlling the electronic throttle and/or ignition angle. When retarding the ignition, the temperature of the exhaust gases should be monitored with caution.

Activation speed

Specifies the speed above which traction control is activated. For low load, a lower speed is set. For a full load - higher speed to keep the engine revving.

Minimum throttle position

Prevents the throttle from being closed below the specified value.

Target slip

The percentage of slip that the algorithm will maintain. Usually 10-15%

Кр, Кі for close

Coefficients for throttle closing. Should be adjusted for the best result. Start with Kp, achieve a reliable traction restore. Then add Ki to achieve smooth operation.

Кі for open

Separate coefficients for lite-load and full-load.

Should be adjusted to achieve smooth operation.

Ignition retard

Specifies the Ignition retard rate and the maximum retard angle.

All-wheel drive

Activates wheel slip tracking for all 4 wheels
