Transients

Correction level

Overall correction level by RPM

Steepness of characteristics

Specifies the steepness of correction characteristics

Standard values:

  • petrol - 2
  • gas - 3

Dead Zone

The level of load change above which the correction is triggered. It is necessary to configure so that the correction is triggered at the right time, but does not react in stationary modes.

Enrichment/Enleanment Settings

The algorithm is two-step. The blocks of fast and slow corrections are the same. Their speed and level are set by parameters.

Correction is calculated as the sum of fast and slow corrections.

Fast correction makes a short peak when you press the pedal, slow - a smooth long wave.

The short peak is basically the intake wave dynamics compensation. It doesn't change with temperature.

The long wave is the the fuel film dynamics. On a cold engine, the wave is much longer and larger.

Duration

Specifies the duration of the correction

Level

Specifies the level of correction

Temp correction

Increases corrections on a cold engine

Configuration method:

In high gears and a flat road

  1. Press the pedal rapidly to reach 90-100kPa and hold still for 5 sec
  2. Release the pedal rapidly to reach 30-40kPa and hold still for 5 sec
  3. Repeat steps 1-2 at different RPMs (1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k)

Adjust the settings. Your goal is:

  • when pedal is pressed - AFR should have fast and small enleanment for 0.5-1 points
  • when pedal is released - AFR should have fast and small enrichment for 0.5-1 points
