Spark cut

Sets the number of sparks that are cut when the RPM limit is reached. Coil charging is skipped for these sparks, so the limiter works as a proper spark cut and not only as a fuel cut.

  • 0 - the limiter cuts fuel only
  • 1..30 - number of cut sparks

Spark cut is suppressed while launch control is active, so the two functions do not interfere.

Ignition advance

Limits ignition advance while the limiter is active. The limit is applied for one engine cycle after the cut, which makes the return to power softer and protects the engine from a spike of advance right after the limiter releases.

The value works as an upper limit: if the calculated advance is lower, it is not changed.

Fuel cutoff

By MAP

Cut-off if the pressure exceeds the specified.

By injector duty

Cut-off if the duty exceeds the specified. You can specify duty values more than 100% to allow operation with injectors fully open. Do it at your own risk!

By AFR

The cut-off is triggered if the AFR varies more than specified at a pressure above the specified.

EGT

AFR correction

Specifies the percentage of AFR correction when the EGT is exceeded. Correction gradually increases from the lower threshold to the upper one.

Boost, RPM or Throttle Limit

Specifies the percentage of the limit when the specified exhaust temperature is exceeded. The restriction gradually increases from the lower threshold to the upper one.

If an electronic throttle is used, the position of the throttle is limited. Otherwise, the RPM limit is lowered down to 50% of the normal value.

Throttle close

When the pressure is exceeded, the throttle is closed. This allows you to smoothly and almost imperceptibly limit the overboost. The restriction gradually increases from the lower threshold to the upper one.

Engine Temperature

RPM limit

RPM limiter 50% of the maximum if the temperature is below specified.

Restrictions are smoothly reduced when the temperature rises by 20 degrees. For example, the value is set to 20 degrees. - Below 20 is the full limit. - From 20 to 40, the limit is gradually reduced. - Above 40 - no restrictions.

Boost Off

Turbocharging below the specified temperature is turned off

Engine power limit

Above specified temperature:

  • Boost pressure is limited
  • RPM is limited
  • Electronic throttle is closed

Restrictions are fully applied when the temperature is exceeded by 5 degrees. For example, the value is set to 105 degrees. - Below 105 - no limit - From 105 to 110, the limits gradually increase. - Above 110 is the full limit.

Oil

Limiting rpm and boost

  • Boost pressure is limited
  • RPM is limited
  • Electronic throttle is closed

The restriction gradually increases from the lower threshold to the upper one.

Stop engine

The engine will be shut down if:

  • oil pressure sensor is connected
  • pressure below and speed above specified for more than 1 sec
