Diagnostics

Test

To run the test - click the appropriate button. While the test is active, the button is held down, and the "Test" mode of operation is displayed in the status bar. To stop the test - press the "Stop" button.

Info

If the test works intermittently, it means that the ECU sees interference at the crankshaft input. To be able to run the test - shorten the crankshaft sensor wires.

Spark plugs dryer

Impulses are constantly fed to all spark plugs.

Coil Test

3ms pulses are applied to the specified COIL output

Injector Test

3ms pulses are applied to the specified INJ output

Fixed angle

The ignition system works with the fixed advance. All corrections are ignored.

Start angle

The ignition system goes into cranking mode. Spark moment will vary, because this mode is not designed to work above 400 RPM. When adjusting with a strobe light, focus on the earliest position of the mark.

Tachometer/Knock

Tachometer and knock sensor test. The tachometer generates pulses of about 2-3K RPM. This activates the knock sensor, and you can test its performance. The digit specifies the knock sensor input.

Injector PWM

Generates PWM at the output of a given injector. Allows to adjust the holding current of the injector.

Analyzer

This is an analogue of a multichannel oscilloscope. Designed for diagnostics of crankshaft sensors. 8 channels are recorded. Three of them are Cam, Crank, TDC signals. The other 5 are signals of choice.

To start, click Record. The connection with the ECU will be dropped. At this time, the unit transmits the analyzer data at high speed, which is written to the file.

To stop, click the Record button again. Connection with the ECU will be restored.

To view, open the log file with name, starting with "analyzer_"

Strobe light on TACH output

The TACH output switches to strobe mode, and generates short pulses designed to control the LED strobe. You can set the ignition channel number (COILx) that will generate the pulses.

Injection Phase Check

If the injection is phased and the ignition is not, the strobe still works in phased mode, which allows you to check the injection phase.

Set the strobe options to the channel number that is connected to the first cylinder and activate the strobe light. Next, you need the strobe light to show the TDC label of the 1st cylinder on the camshaft. If the label does not match - change the setting "start counting from the cylinder" in the main parameters.

All data from the ECU

This list contains all the data that the ECU transmits.
