VW 2.0 8V „2E“

Hey Guys,

I’m thinking of using the jetronic on a VW 2.0 8V „2E“ engine that I’m going to install in my VW T3. As I don’t have the original ECU and wiring harness for the engine, i want to install the jetronic as a „stand alone“ system. I’ve read all the information about ignition control. So far the only problem i see is the fuel pump relay. I don’t see any possibility on the jetronic to trigger the fuel pump relay. So how do i connect it?

Cars with KE-Jetronic usually have a 'smart' pump relay that activates with the RPM signal.
We plan to add some programmable outputs to the software

If you are using a stock relay, it should activate with the RPM signal.
If you are using a general purpose relay - for now, you can switch it on with the ignition.

If anyone else is ever running into the same problem:

VW 321906059H ist the part number of a smart fuel pump relay you are looking for. This relay primes for 2-3 seconds after the ignition "15" is turned on an gets triggered by the coil "1" while the engine is running. Perfect solution for my problem.
