Car wont start

Hey, i installed the ecu today but the car wont start.
It seems like the ecu is not reading any rpm readings, but im not sure this is correct.
I think it might be the cranckshaft sensor or hall sensor but its unclear to me where the position of it is.

you have no RPM readings in the ECU
The standard KE-Jetronic has RPM output. You can always hook up there.

i just figured out that i have an old coil system that doesnt use a cps sensor but a sensor on the power distributor is it maybe because it doesnt use the traditional cps sensor that it doesnt work?

I also finished the install today, but no start - unfortunately. I'll post the log tomorrow.

JHM I already know this but since my car uses an older system with magnetic pickup will the Ecu be able to translate it?

That's exactly the case when you have to use the KE-Jetronic RPM input, like in Mercedes

Update: I bypassed the tzl(ezl) and connected the td wire directly to the negative terminal on the coil. This gave me an rpm signal and started the car.
I will now look into replacing the tzl and cable which was probably the problem.
