Hello, I have several questions - 2.3NG engine. Fuse keeps blowing when i connect the knock sensor, when disconected i have no issues apart from car feeling like too rich mixture when cold (like 3-5min after start), but i had same issue with KE-Jetronic so not related i gues (any suggestions for fix?) Can you check a log if things are working as intended, i recently got the hall sensor window windened (idle is good, also got the "phase" light up in green)? Is it possible to use any of the turbo settings if I ever manage to go for turbo or compressor build over the stock 2.3 or I have to use other "stand-alone" ecu with proper sensors etc.? It is stock wiring/ecu issue, can't help much with it. As long as you use quality fuel and have proper ignition advance set, you can drive without knock sensor. Car is running good. You'd better use a proper tool for turbocharging. Our EMS-2 for example.

It is stock wiring/ecu issue, can't help much with it. As long as you use quality fuel and have proper ignition advance set, you can drive without knock sensor.

Forgot to mention the 15 A invent fuse on the + before the relay blows when i have the knock sensor connected.
Will try swaping with another knock sensor from another car to see.

Indeed, thats my thought, because i changed like 3-4 blown fuses until i disconnected the knock sensor and got no issues since.

Then wiring is messed up. It's dangerous. You'd better recheck everything.

I just had the fuse blown again, hope this was the issue, idle valve cable. Gues it was just coincidence with unplugging the knock sensor last time... but didnt had any issues for the past 2000km or so. Hope its fixed now.

Red wire have to contact with something to blow the fuse. But it is coated with rubber cap.
I'm afraid it should be something else.

JHM Yeah it was rubbung with with bare metal right behind the front grille next to the right headlight.

Any idea why the idle rpm sometimes takes like up to10sec to drop from 1200 to 800rpm other times they dont even drop until I shut down and start the engine again, even when letting the car coast in neutral they dont go down but rather stay at 1100-1200rpm.
I did used some carburateur cleaner and wd40 to clean the idle valve when i was installing the injection, before with KJ-tronic never had this issue.

From this morning since cold start. RPM didnt drop to normal all the way. Went back to the car after 1hour had no issues when stopped the RPM did drop to 800, but not when coasting in neutral. On the next start after like 30min had the same issue again, RPM stood at 1200 even when stopped.
Will give it a try with some manual setting of the Idle Valve via the android app, will give feedback.

Idle position goes from 40% up to 90%, but RPM stays at 1000.
Your idle valve is not functioning.
