Bobexsus I tired connecting to the ecu via Bluetooth on my windows laptop and smartphone but I don’t see anything jettronic what pins do I plug the my multi meter in to verify the if unit is getting power.
Bobexsus Thanks I’ve got it connected and uploaded the m102 calibrations I can crank the car over but no start the idle button and full throttle button at the bottom are highlighted.
Bobexsus Bobexsus I did upload calibrations by accident on the later version of the software but closed it after the error message came up
JHM Connect with proper Commander version and reupload calibrations again. If full throttle is activated while cranking - fuel is cut. This is cylinder cleaning mode.
Bobexsus JHM I did upload the new calibrations on the old version how do I get it to disable the cylinder drying mode.
JHM You should not fully depress the throttle pedal when starting. If ECU sees no RPM - engine will not start. Check if RPM signal is connected correctly. Still, I suspect that calibrations are not uploaded correctly.
Bobexsus I have rewired the rpm signal and reuploaded calibrations but I’m still stuck on cylinder cleaning mode.
Bobexsus So far I tested each injector with bottles and can confirm they work but it just doesn't inject when starting the car.
JHM Recheck idle and full load switches. Your switches are in opposite states they should be. Idle should be active, fullload - not.
Bobexsus JHM Thank you the idle switch has been fixed but I can’t find a way to turn off full throttle it stays on at all times I have a 2 pin throttle sensor I noticed a lot of pictures have the 3 pin throttle switch could that affect it
Bobexsus I also noticed that on some ECUs the number 6 pinout is called a full load sensor could connecting the k full wire to that work?
JHM Yes, you should connect K-Full wire to pin.5 Check if voltage on the pin.5 is changing when you press the throttle
Bobexsus I still have t managed to get a start i don’t see any rpm when cranking could that be the problem?
Bobexsus If it is the rpm signal could I connect it directly to the relay similar to how the tachometer is connected.
JHM When cranking, You should see 120-180 RPM in both Commander and gauge cluster This is RPM signal path: crankshaft position sensor -> EZL -> KE-Jet, Tachometer, Fuel pump relay I suppose if you see RPM on the gauge cluster then EZL is working.
Bobexsus I’ve got the car to start consistently after cleaning up the Wires and contacts going from the ignition control to the fuel pump. When the car starts however it runs rough and I get a map error also I have a 3 pin IACV I don’t know if that has any effect on it.
Inzzz Hi, I have pretty much same issue going on on my m104. Cranks but no rpm and no start. Im using igniton control as well. Calibrations are uploaded. Idle and full load switches are working as it should. 55 pin ecu. Any suggestions, where to look?
Bobexsus Inzzz Yeah I was having the same problem for a while what fixed it for me was cleaning every single contact for the TD wire going from the EZL or ignition control yours will look a little different but I think it has the same exposes connection that corrodes I then opened up the wires under the fuel pump relay and took out the Td signal wires for me it was green and yellow stipe. number 10 on the relay and re tested it witch gave me rpm but the relay needs a Td signal to send fuel and after cleaning up the relay and the pin on the contacts it now sends a signal. It looks like without an rpm signal being sent it will not inject.
