M117 Kjet in Djet car

Hello,

I'm planning on swapping a M117 5.6 (kjet) in my 1973 450SLC which has a M117 4.5 (Djet)
I don't want to run on the kjet from the engine (and my car isn't equiped with all the ECU and hardware from the kjet) and invent labs kit seems like a good alternative.
But I've seen that to connect the invent labs kit you need to wire it on the kjet ECU, is there any way that I can connect it on my Djet car ?

Invent Jetronic ECU can run on its own, provided with proper signals from the sensors.
On Mercedes, the main issue is where to get the RPM signal (original VR sensors are not supported). That's why we use a stock EZL module as a source of the RPM signal.

Probably you can use the stock flywheel trigger with the hall sensor, like we do on m102, m103:

JHM perfect, thank you, last question, is it possible to use the ezl distributor self adjusting rotor position using the ignition timing table from the invent ecu ?
