I'm having some issues with the two latest software updates.
With version 4.1.5, the engine runs great, is very stable, and has a good idle. The only issue is that about 2 to 3 times a month, the engine randomly cuts out/shuts off when dropping from 2,000–3,000 RPM down to idle while the AC is turned on.
However, with the two newer updates, I'm facing major problems:
- The idle is extremely unstable.
- Bad Engine Start behavior
- As soon as the AC is switched on, the car loses all power and stalls.
- The trip computer shows an extremely high fuel consumption rate (jumping from 7.6 L/100km to 30–50 L/100km), even though actual consumption remains around 8 L/100km.
I have attached two log files: one from v4.1.7 and another after reflashing back to v4.1.5.
Note / Setup details:
- The engine is not original (modifications include an changed intake and upgraded camshaft).
- I tested both my custom 4.1.5 map and the standard 4.1.7 calibration map, even use my ignition and VE, AFR map with 4.1.7 changes but there was no difference.
- I also tried tweaking the idle PID, idle timing, idle AFR, etc., but nothing helped.
