VassilisFloros I didn't manage to start the engine. I reloaded the firmware for the DBW and now the throttle body doesn't want to calibrate and the TPS is always at the maximum. I turned the engine by hand several times and cylinder 1 is firing almost the opposite side of the DTC . I tried many compinations fixed angle ...zero angle corrections..but nothing no success. Mono ...batch..ignition...nothing. Is someone at this forum who had a successful engine start with ems2? I don't know what else to do ...
VassilisFloros Update The problem is that when the crank sensor is not almost touching the flywheel the ecu gets faulty signal . The rpm is working injectors are working but the spark is 0 . I managed to solve this problem by fabricating the crank hall sensor so it can go deeper and near the flywheel. Video is coming. Now the problem with TPS and DBW. https://youtube.com/shorts/78FqzO6g22Q?is=8s9JNkYJadCSKei2
VassilisFloros Update Tps is working now ..I putted the correct values at the matrix DBW is calibrated and working I deinstalled everything and I will start the final installation.
VassilisFloros The engine is running only if the coil1 is the 4 cylinder and coil4 at he first cylinder ,coil2 at the 3rd cylinder. Engine was running for almost for 1 hour and the accelerator pedal also was working. Now its stalling at idle and when I'm trying to press the pedal engine stalls immediately. Also idle some times is stable and some times not . With crank angle inversion and the coils athe correct place engine is not starting at all
JHM there are firing order and sync options. I thought you know about it. You have to connect cylinders straight: OUT1 -> Cylinder1, OUT2 -> Cylinder2 ,and so on.
JHM Use those settings as a base, it will give you a driveability right away. Dial in your injector size, inputs, outputs, sensors, etc 20260814-151336-v547.imf21kB
VassilisFloros Hello I know about this ....after trial end error now the engine is starting with 3 cylinders Even diagnostics are firing number 3 cylinder (i can see the spark) during cranking no spark ) I ve swapped the coils same situation
VassilisFloros Ngk crank hall sensor is off . Can I wire vr sensor (i have one spare )to bring the car home ?
JHM VassilisFloros No, VR sensor won't work with this type of trigger wheel. So you have a hall sensor on the flywheel, no cam sensor, correct? You run distributor or COPs?
VassilisFloros No the crank sensor is off the distributor hall sensor is not ready yet yes I'm running ngk cops JHM
JHM VassilisFloros This setup won't work without the cam sensor. The ECU don't know where the 1st cylinder is. It will fire randomly.
VassilisFloros Can you advice where the reference should be regarding the dtc?camshaft sensor is ready in place at the distributor head calibration and correct position needed
JHM VassilisFloros 20-30 degrees after the TDC then you will catch the correct cylinder sync via "Sync from cyl" option
VassilisFloros I managed to bring the car at home now I have to calibrate what you advised. This is my set up Its a cam shaft hall sensor from m111 and I can adjust the "tooth"to face the sensor when the crank mark will be 20 to 30 at the 1st cylinder. Correct?
JHM This is hardcore 🙂 You need to round up the bolt head, to keep the gap consistent, and remove the counterweight. Otherwise it will generate phantom impulses.
