Hello.
I’ve been running an Invent setup for about a year now and overall everything has been fine — the car has been reliable and hasn’t let me down during this time.
Engine: 2.3 AAR
Firmware: 3.2.18
Injectors: Bosch 107
Fuel pressure regulator in the filter: 4 bar
I ordered the kit and installed everything myself. There were no problems with installation or initial startup. At that time I didn’t have much time or experience, so once the engine started and ran properly, I just left it as it was. Fuel consumption and performance were acceptable.
Occasionally (quite rarely), when starting the engine hot, it could stall and the idle would fluctuate. In those cases I would raise the RPM to about 2000 and then release the throttle — after that the idle would stabilize and work normally. Since it happened rarely, I didn’t pay much attention to it.
A few days ago I decided to connect to the ECU and check the data. A couple of things concern me:
Intake air temperature
It always stays around 25°C. I don’t think this is correct. I would like to hear your opinion on this.
O2 sensor voltage
It always stays around 0.45 V, and after a few minutes of engine operation a lambda error appears.
I checked the resistance of the O2 sensor heater — there was no continuity. I immediately replaced the sensor with another used one. While it was off the car, I measured the heater resistance and got 9.5 Ω. After installing it on the car, I measured again — no continuity (infinite resistance).
I connected the O2 sensor wiring. I checked the reference voltage between signal and ground — 0.45 V.
I started the engine and measured voltage on the heater circuit — 12 V. After the engine warmed up, I measured the signal voltage — it stays around 0.45 V at idle, and changes slightly when opening the throttle.
Phase injection
Sometimes I also see a “phased injection” indicator, even though I did not modify the distributor reluctor wheel. Does the system detect phase without this modification now, or could this be a bug?
I will attach two logs below — cold start and warm engine.
If needed, I can also send my calibration file.
Thank you in advance.
