Audi 2.3 NG and Connector #2 AFS emulator (remove complete KE-Jetronic)

Hello there, i have a quick question regarding connector #2 in the manual for Audi 2.3 NG. Is it a must do to reconnect connector #2 or is it sufficient to connect the EMUL wire? I want to remove the whole KE-Jetronic and not only remove the baffle plate inside.

I understand that i need to keep the pressure actuator and connector #1

Just the EMUL wire is sufficient as long as you don't mind seeing errors in KE-Jetronic ECU

Does it have any drawbacks other than the Error blink Code? Retarded ignition etc?

No. ignition relies on the EMUL signal
