MAP sensor location on intake manifold

Hi!
I removed the intake manifold, to replace its gaskets. Do I still drill the holes, like in the manual, or is there better location, that I can utilize, as I have removed it, and have easier access to drill out the holes?

JHM, can you please pinpoint the location if there is a better option?

M102, just in case..

So I drilled the MAP sensor as per manual.

However, it seems that PCV hoses are impossible to assemble. And that small flange that connects manifold to hoses are in the way to connect injector. I will soon upload pictures, so you understand what I'm talking about.

So, there are two kinds of PCV hose setups for m102.
One like in the manual - small flange, with 3-way hose. And breather to air filters connects on front.
And one like mine - 3-way flange, two hoses connects to flange. Breather to air filter connects under the air filter housing.

I ordered the small flange and hoses, so after two or three days, I'll give an update on this issue.

The best MAP location is in the manual.
You can rotate injectors to move them away from the obstacle. They have orientation-independent conic spray pattern.

Then I installed it correctly. Well, it's a little off to the left side, but I hope that won't impact performance too much.
Thanks for the solution. I still ordered the alternative parts - that will make connecting ICV easier.
