M102 Full load switch not detected

Hello,

I have installed the Invent Jetronic kit on my M102.961 but I can't get the full load switch to work.

Therefore I have tested the full load switch connection with my multimeter and here's the values I got :

Not Wide-Open-Throttle : 58.5 mV
Wide-Open-Throttle : 58.2 mV

So I guess the switch is doing something, however, I do not know if those values mean anything to the ECU.

On an unrelated note, I also noticed my ECU is configured with the "Bosch 107" injector type setting, yet I'm using Bosch 0 280 158 038 injectors therefore I would like to know if I should change the injector type setting to "Bosch 038".

You need to measure the switch using the ohms scale to check if it works first, then you can test voltage to check if it is connected to the ECU properly.

For the injectors, yes, you should set 038

I've just tested it using the Ohms scale and the value doesn't change when I press the throttle all the way.

So I guess that means my switch is defective, is that correct ? If that's the case can I replace it with a TPS ?

If the switch resistance does not react to the pedal pressing, then switch is defective.
Yes, you can replace switches with suitable TPS sensor
