M102 Idle light stays on.

Engine running rough and idling poorly. Idle light stays on for 95% of throttle range and only turns off at full throttle.
FullLoad light turns on at 10% throttle. Any idea what the problem could be? Engine is m102.962 with older style ignition and ecu.

Hello I have checked connection and functions, everything seems to be working as it should. Is this system supposed to be working with the K-jetronic or just KE-jetronic? I have the 2 wire tps and it only seems to have a on/off switch on it which I think is the problem

It's called idle switch. It is supposed to engage when the pedal is depressed, and disengage when you start to move the pedal. it should be adjusted to work properly.
Proper ECU operation depends on this switch.

for me it's working the opposite way it should. Idle light only turns off at full throttle and full throttle light turns on just after depressing the pedal. How do I adjust this?

meemelc I switched the K-Full and K-Idle wires around from the invent ecu to what I believe is the correct orientation. Now the Idle and Fullload switches work in opposite ways. At no throttle idle light is off and fulload light is on. when you just start to move the throttle Idle light turns on and at full throttle fullload light turns off. Now I believe I have the wires right. What could cause the switches to work backwards like this?

Seems that you should swap the switches

JHM They are both normally open switches. Making them both normally closed would solve the issue.

Enable custom mode in engine selector, and use switch inversion checkbox

JHM Hey having problems adjusting lambda correction. The injection settings dont seem to have much of an effect. Everytime I give throttle lambda corr goes to -40. How should I try adjusting from here?

JHM Also have a map error. Checked the voltage and have 5v at the connector so the sensor must have gone bad?

MAP error can be caused bu improper throttle switch operation.
Better to record a log from the engine start.

MAP error can be triggered, if ECU is not powered down with ignition off.
