I did this list in german, thats the translatet version from deepl.
Parts list for a 2.5L NG conversion.
The stroke extension is achieved by a 95.5mm crankshaft stroke. These crankshafts were mainly installed in diesel engines. Here is a list of the engine models. -Vw T4 MTK: AAB, AJA, ACV, AUF, AXL and AYC -Audi 100, A6 C4 MTK: AAS, 1Z, AAT, ABP, ACV
The pistons and connecting rods can be removed from these engines VW: Golf4, Bora, New Beetle
Skoda: 0ctavia, Fabia
MKB: APK, AQY, ATU,AEG, AZJ (All 2.0L 85kW models) Blevel can also be used from NG but must be machined. It is recommended to use the piston as it is plug & play and even lighter.
If you want to spend more money, you can also use tuning rods
with the dimensions 144mmx20mm. e.g. H-Shaft Plevel.
The engine block must be bored out to 83mm and checked for free movement of the crankshaft drive.
Further recommended conversion measures.
Edit cylinder head_ (edit air ducts, camshaft with adjustable camshaft sprocket).
- Head gasket from 7A
take
Enlarge exhaust paths (200 cell catalytic converter, fan manifold, 2.75" exhaust system, work on exhaust bridge parts, possibly use 2.0 upper part for
more torque.
7A oil pan (soli slightly better oil cooling. (an oil cooler is recommended) Conversion to a freely programmable control unit (Megasquirt, InventLab) Lightened flywheel (TTV Racing)
If you want to use the extra Nm, you can use a different gearbox The DHF achieves 117KmH in 5th gear at 2500 rpm The AXG achieves 117KmH in 5th gear at
2500rpm 81Km H
With the DHF transmission, a speed reduction of approx. 10000 rpm can be achieved in 5th gear.
The gearbox was used in the A4 B5 1.9TDI where a torque of 225Nm to 235Nm was achieved, depending on the version.
A 2.5L NG is specified with an additional output of 20-30%, so it would have between 163-176PS and 228-247Nm. Quattro owners cannot use this gearbox.
