I would very much like to grind this 1.1mm gap free on the ignition distributor of my car. However, I have no idea how to remove this piece of metal for machining. Is it just a slight miss or do I have to remove the ignition distributor and loosen a screw somewhere?
Also a question about defining the correct position.
I have to set the engine to 0 point (crankshaft number 0°). Then remove the cap and where cylinder 1 is, is that where I should grind free? Or is it the one where the sensor is?
