Alex0502 I will soon convert my vehicle to the kit. I had a few questions while reading the instructions. I have an air conditioning system, in the instructions it says I should connect the magnetic coupling with pin exp. On the last page is the control unit pin 1C AC from software version 2.3. This pin is not included in the wiring harness is it an advantage to take the AC pin and not the EXP? i want to use the ECU also for the ignition so the EMU pin to the ignition coil. Can I remove both original control units? How about the wires that are soldered in parallel, can I wire some without connection to the old ECU? e.g. CLT, Plastic Box #1, TPS Switches.... can I read the errors with an OBD reader over the K line or is this only possible via the ECU software? can I reduce the vacuum lines e.g. from the rubber intake hose to idle control leave out? could problems arise if I make changes to the intake path before the throttle valve? e.g. Other air filter box, intake hose. Greetings from Germany
JHM You can use either EXT or AC inputs for this. Better to leave stock wiring as is, to avoid unnecessary complications. No, ECU is not OBD compliant Yes. Make sure they don't collapse when vacuum applied. You can do anything you like with the path before throttle. Possibly it depends on stock wiring
Alex0502 Thanks for the answer. One last question for now, what advantage could a TPS give me? The throttle for the automatic was available with a TPS and a Idle Switch.
